MCDL is Back to All Services and Full Hours

All services are back at MCDL.  Browse in-person events and continued virtual events.

Meeting room reservations are available and full passport and passport photo service is offered at Medina, Brunswick, and Lodi Libraries by appointment.

Storytimes are back in full swing and the Bookmobile is on the road. 

All book drops are open at MCDL locations 24/7 and at Medina Buehler's locations.

Time Saving services including Curbside and Locker pick up and library personal shoppers are available at mcdl.info/Services.

MCDL locations are open:

Mon. - Thurs. 10:00 am - 8:00 pm

Fri. & Sat.      10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Open Sundays at Medina and Brunswick 1:00 - 5:00 pm through May 22

 

MCDL has COVID-19 at-home test kits

Do not enter the buildings to request a kit.
Kits are only available by Curbside or Locker pickup and may be requested by calling your local branch.

  • Contact-free distribution will be arranged through curbside or locker service.
  • Rapid tests are not returned to the library.
  • Patrons experiencing Covid-19 symptoms are NOT to enter the libraries.

    Test users should read all included instructions before administering the test.  Test types may vary and may not always be proctored via telemedicine. Paper instructions will accompany proctored tests. Covid-19 At-Home Test Instructions

The Rapid Covid-19 Antigen At-Home Test Kit is provided in partnership with the State of Ohio. According to the Medina County Health Department, the tests are intended for people experiencing symptoms. Rapid tests are highly effective in diagnosing Covid-19 when symptoms are present. The tests are not recommended for people who do not have symptoms.

  • ORDER FOUR TEST KITS FROM THE FEDERAL WEBSITE (updated 2/15/22)
    Order one set of four at-home tests from the federal government through USPS.com. USPS will send one box with four tests inside to valid U.S. residential addresses.

  • COVID-19 VACCINE CLINICS AT MCDL (updated 4/6/22)
    Monthly Walk-In vaccine clinics continue on Fridays through May at select MCDL locations.
    All clinics are 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm, administer all three vaccines, and are hosted by the Medina County Health Department. FDA approved booster shots are also available. Blood pressure screenings and free Covid test kits will also be available.

    Lodi Library - May 27
    Appointments may still be made through the ArmorVax App but not required. Walk-in appointments are always available.
