Cheryl and Bill Filion are a local couple that competes as a team at the National Competition level. Previously they have made houses for the Cleveland Botanical Garden before moving onto The National Gingerbread Competition at the Omni Grove Park Inn in Asheville, NC.
Their detailed creations take between 600-1200 hours to complete, are completely edible, and they have been fortunate enough to place in the coveted Top 10 multiple times with some Top 3 wins as well. Cheryl and a friend also competed on Food Network and won the episode along with a prize of $10,000.
The presentation takes the viewers through the building process of their creations through a power point presentation that showcases over 150 slides and short videos. Viewers not only get a sneak peek into the behind the scenes creative process, but will also pick up a few tips on building their own creations as well.
